Year 6 Transition morning at Winifred Holtby

On Monday 15th June Year 6 children went across to Winifred Holtby to take part in a Science morning as part of their transition work.

The Science teachers at Winifred Holtby explained to the children about what they should expect Science to be like at secondary school level. The children thoroughly enjoyed carrying out a practical investigation based around the subject of insulation and penguins.

We are looking forward to the next part of the transition bridging unit when the English Secondary Teachers will visit Biggin next week to carry out some work with them. Watch out for more pictures.
