During April, each of the Year 5 classes were given the opportunity to have a day out in London courtesy of the Children’s University.
Children met at the train station on the morning of their visit ready for a fun packed day around London.
When arriving at Kings Cross, children got on the tube to Whitehall Gardens and sat down to each their lunch. After they had eaten children got to visit and have a tour around the Houses of Parliament. Children then went on to watch a 4D movie about the London Eye and then got to have a ride on the London Eye. This was followed by a visit to watch the Horse Guards Parade and see 10 Downing Street and then onto St James’ Park for tea. After they had finished tea they went onto Buckingham Palace and then onto Green Park Station to get the tube back to Kings Cross to catch the train home.
I am sure you will agree that this was a fun packed day for all involved and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. A big thanks to the Children’s University for a fantastic day out!!
