Monday 27th June to Friday 1st July was Science week at Biggin Hill Primary and all of the children right across the school enjoyed learning about and getting stuck into renewable energy!
From Foundation Stage to Year 6, our children researched and completed activities which celebrate the use of renewables like recycling and harnessing natural energy such as solar, wind, water collection and recycled materials.
Classes also had workshops delivered by local organisations from Hull University’s ‘Street Science’ and the science behind magic, KC Communications, Northern Gas Networks and Building Surveyors, the week was packed full of exciting scientific learning opportunities which we have really enjoyed.
We are lucky to have such enthusiastic and curious scientists of the future in our school!
