Music Taster Sessions for Adults

As part of the City of Culture activities Mr Clark (Head of School) and the Schools’ Music Service, would like to invite staff, parents, carers, grandparents and other adults connected with the school, to take part in a series of instrumental taster sessions.

The intention is that these will run at the same time as the Bransholme Beat Orchestra on the following dates, on Wednesdays between 4 and 5pm at Biggin Hill Primary Academy. Arrival by 3.50pm.

8th February

15th February

22nd February Half Term – no rehearsal

22nd March – REHEARSAL and CONCERT. It is hoped that you will be able to join with the Bransholme Beat Orchestra in the concert.

You do not need any previous instrumental experience; neither do you need to have a child taking part in the Bransholme Beat Orchestra.

The sessions will be led by qualified music teachers from the Schools’ Music Service. The sessions are designed to be informal. It is hoped that they will whet your appetite to take your music making further.

Please download the form below, fill it in and then return to school if you are interested in taking part in these Instrumental Taster Sessions.

If you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs Fairbairn (Music Co-ordinator) on 01482 825377.
