Biggin Hill is one of over 300 schools to receive a week of free cereal from the company Kellogg’s. The main purpose of this is to ensure our pupils eat breakfast before taking their SATs exams which are due in the next couple of weeks. According to research by Kellogg’s, last year one in six children took their National Curriculum tests without having breakfast which may have affected their performance.
The company kindly donated the cereal to our children to ensure that they get the best start to the day and to help them achieve the best results they can. It is especially important during SATs week that children start the day with breakfast in a safe and supportive environment so that they are focused and prepared for their exams.
Good luck to all pupils who are due to sit their SATs this month.
