Egyptian Tasting

Mrs Johnson from ‘Taste of History’ visited year 3 & 4 today.  The children have been creating authentic Egyptian cuisine with fresh ingredients.  Recipes included lentil soup, baba ghanjouj, lemonade.  They also had a taster session of sesame rings, garlic croutons, Ta’amia (bean rissole), baklava, semolina cake, leek, courgette & pine nut eggah.

This was to compliment the Ancient Egypt topic for this term.
